Roots to Wellbeing: Nordic walking
Our Nordic walking is part of our exercise to support people with long term health conditions or recovery from injuries. We cater for all levels and can grade the support you have or need to enhance your wellbeing. We are a fun and friendly group which enable you to meet new friends and experience low impact exercise as the poles support your core strength, balance, joints and increase calorie burn. There is a charge for this service, but we offer the first walk free.

Our trained instructors deliver Nordic Walking Groups for all levels and abilities. Monday mornings 9.30-10.20am (Greyhound Pub Harlow Town Park CM20 2QD) Wednesday mornings, 9:30am - 11:15am (Moorhen Harlow / River Stort) and Friday lunchtime, 12pm - 1:30pm (Parndon Wood Nature Reserve) - mindfulness Nordic walk and Tai Chi.
The first session is free and then it is offered on a sliding scale with suggestion of £5 / £3 for concessions weekly term time .

Who can use this service?
Anyone in Harlow and surrounding areas who feels they would benefit from low impact group exercise.

How are services delivered?
Face-to-face in the Harlow area (term times only).
Please wear comfy clothing and layers (weather dependant) comfortable footwear for walking on paths and grass and bring a small backpack for water.
