Citizens Advice Harlow Energy Advice Service (funded by UKPN)
Citizens Advice Harlow, in partnership with UK Power Networks, offers a free, comprehensive energy advice service for all clients needing energy advice. Our advisers can perform benefit checks, access grants, provide fuel and fuel vouchers and give energy efficiency and low-carbon advice. Our Energy Advisers will also triage to our other energy teams if necessary.
Delivered by experienced advisers, the service provides:
- Benefit Entitlement Checks: Ensuring you're receiving all the benefits you're eligible for.
- Income Maximisation Support: Identifying additional income sources and financial support.
- Assistance with Fuel Debt: Support in managing energy-related debts, including applications to trusts and foundations for potential debt relief.
- Energy Efficiency Advice: Guidance on reducing energy consumption and improving home energy efficiency.
- Access to Grants and Emergency Fuel Payments: Help in applying for grants for energy-saving improvements and emergency fuel support.
- Energy Tariff Guidance: Advice on selecting the most cost-effective energy tariffs.
- The service is especially beneficial for individuals responsible for paying utility bills and those experiencing or at risk of fuel poverty
