Roots to Wellbeing: Harlow Cycle Recycle

Harlow Cycle Recycle scheme is a free cycle recycling scheme for families, adults and children. To include those on low income, who may have had their cycle stolen and unable to afford a replacement or may need a cycle to get to work and on low income. We actively support individuals who may be struggling financially, on means tested benefits or / and who may struggle to afford a bicycle.

We are growing this scheme to include cycle maintenance, cycle training and confidence as well as part of our Inclusive Cycling Around the Neighbourhood scheme (ICAN). We accept cycle donations and will consider applications from outside Harlow if cycles can be collected.  

Who can use this service?

Low income famiies, individuals who may be struggling financially, on means tested benefits or / and who may struggle to afford a bicycle such as those who have had bike stolen and people on low income.

How are services delivered?

We take applications from the community and work to allocate the right sized, restored and serviced bike
