The Change Project: Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme

The Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme (DAPP) is delivered by The Change Project. The DAPP is a 20-week 1:1 programme for individuals (aged 18 years and above) from any gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion or cultural background who want to stop being abusive towards their partners/ ex partners and are motivated to change their behaviour. The cost of the 20 week programme is £4500 for a self-referral

The programme is voluntary and the course is delivered weekly on a 1:1 basis.  We accept referrals for males and females and clients who require an interpreter.  Victims are supported through our Integrated Support Service (ISS) by an Integrated Support Practitioner providing support and signposting.

For further details visit our website: DAPP Programme.

Who can use this service?

How are services delivered?

Referrals are welcomed from any professional working with an individual/family where domestic abuse is a concern. Clients can self-refer, however if they are open to services, referrals should be made by an agency working with the individual/family. Referrals from professionals require the client’s consent, especially as there is a cost for this programme of £4500 for a self-referral.

Face to face in Chelmsford or online sessions are avaliable across Essex.
