Read Easy Harlow & Chelmsford
We provide free one-to-one reading coaching for adults, delivered by trained volunteers at public venues such as a library or community building. Coaching sessions are for 30 minutes twice a week at a time that is convenient to both the Reader and the Coach. Read Easy Reading Coaches use the well-established Shannon Trust ‘Turning Pages’ adult literacy resources. Our face to face reading coaching is restricted to Harlow and Chelmsford local authority area residents, however we also offer remote (online) one to one reading coaching to any Essex resident.

Who can use this service?
How are services delivered?
Anyone age 18 or over, who has sufficient proficiency in spoken English. Face to Face reading coaching is only possible for residents of Chelmsford or Harlow Districts, however our online reading coaching is offered to any Essex resident.
Services are delivered on a one-to-one basis by volunteer reading coaches who are safely recruited and trained..
