Contact Harlow are the Customer Service Team at Harlow Council. We are able to advise or signpost on issues including Benefits, Council Tax, Homelessness, General Housing enquiries as well as bin collections and environmental enquiries.

All members of the public.

Many of our services are available online www.harlow.gov.uk

Housing Needs Register applications can be completed online as well as Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support claims.

Payments can be made 24hrs a day either online or by calling 01279 446600. Reports on environmental issues such as fly tipping or reporting a missed bin can also be made online. 

We have a team of Customer Advisors at Contact Harlow who are available by phone on 01279 446655. They can give general advice, raise enquiries and are the first point of contact for Harlow Council.

You can also contact an Officer from the Housing Benefit / Council Tax Support Team by calling the same number and selecting Option 4 and then Option 3 and for Council Tax bills by selecting Option 4 and then Option 2.

These lines are open between 09.00-16.45 each weekday other than Wednesdays where the lines are open from 10.00-16.45.
