Dementia Adventure thinks differently about dementia. They believe that with the right support, everyone with dementia can get outdoors, experience the wellbeing benefits of nature and enjoy more active and fulfilled lives. They offer supported holidays in 10 locations across the UK and dementia training for family and friends, professionals and organisations. . However, if the price is out of reach they might be able to offer you further financial asistance.
- Supported Dementia Holidays: We offer small-group holidays and individually-tailored breaks for people living with dementia and the people who care for them, enabling you to get away together and enjoy some time off.
- Free training for family and friends: ‘Understanding Dementia Better’ and ‘Mood and Motivation’ are free, online training sessions for family and friends supporting someone with dementia at home.
- Training and Consultancy: The team will work with you to create inclusive services, so that people with dementia can engage more with nature and have regular outdoor experiences.
- Green Letter Days: From serene summer walks, joyful days of sport spectating, to tranquil kayaking trips on the water, our carefully crafted excursions promise to uplift your spirits and create cherished memories.
