Citizens Advice Harlow
Citizens Advice Harlow provides a free, independent, confidential and impartial advice service. We give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We offer information and advice on issues such as benefits, money, debt, relationships, housing, employment, legal, consumer, discrimination, immigration and energy. We can also assist with making phone calls, writing letters, completing forms, negotiating on your behalf and directing you to other useful organisations.
Our office is currently open only for pre-booked appointments that can be made via the telephone from. You will have a short initial assessment after which you may be offered one or more of the following appointment options:
- Benefit specialist
- Macmillan welfare benefits caseworker, for clients with cancer or their carers
- DRO specialist
- Debt specialist
- Housing specialist
- Free 30 minute appointment with a solicitor
- Referral to another agency
- Energy specialists to provide practical tips on managing rising energy costs, making homes more energy-efficient, and helping residents save money on bills.
