Headway: Support for Adults with Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury

We support adults living with an acquired brain injury and their carers in Essex. We offer a day service in both Benfleet and Colchester, where we provide a broad range of physical, cognitive, social and educational activities. In the community we offer free information and advice, online groups, our 'Brain Injury & Me' educational programme and a variety of monthly support group meetings including: social group meetings, mens only group, carers group, carers ICT (Integrated Community Therapy) group, and Young circle (18-40).

We’re here to make sure you do not have to face living with an acquired brain injury alone.

If you would like further information on the services we provide please visit our website: Headway: Our support or call us on 01206 845945. To make a referral into our services then please click HERE to go to Headway Essex's website.

Please note we cannot accept referrals for those with degenerative conditions (such as dementia, MS, Parkinsons, malignant tumours etc), active addictions, or severe mental health difficulties.
