Jobcentre Plus

You’re entitled to free help from a Jobcentre workcoach if you’re unemployed and looking for work or seeking to increase household income. Get support from Jobcentre Plus to help you prepare for, find and stay in work, including training, guidance and work placement programmes, work experience and volunteering.

If you have a child under the age of 18 in your household and are experiencing multiple or complex barriers to finding work, increasing your hours, or seeking alternative employment, support is available from a Family Community Work Coach.

Family Community Work Coaches are Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) specialists who work within the community to provide a holistic, person‑centred approach to helping you move closer to employment.

To access this support, please contact your local Jobcentre Plus and request a referral
